Baritone with Driftwood

This piece brings together a vintage CONN Baritone and Florida cedar driftwood in a bold, sculptural design.

​

The baritone was carefully placed through the body of the driftwood to preserve its recognizable form. The bell is placed at the top of the driftwood, creating the striking illusion that the instrument has grown organically through the wood. The main body is supported by a substantial lower section of driftwood, completing a process that took over 110 hours to realize.

​

At the top, a large spiral copper element crowns the baritone bell, concealing an integrated speaker that transforms the sculpture into a fully functional Bluetooth speaker with impressive sound quality.

The Florida cedar driftwood has been hand-finished with five clear coats to enhance its natural beauty.

​

Measuring approximately 50 inches tall, and 23 inches wide, this one-of-a-kind creation seamlessly blends visual artistry with modern audio functionality.

 

This creation is also a Bluetooth Speaker.
