Guitar with Driftwood

This piece artfully blends an electric guitar with Florida driftwood to create a unique sculptural form.

​

​The guitar has been thoughtfully divided into six sections. Each component has been carefully arranged and mounted onto the driftwood, preserving the essence of the instrument while giving it a new artistic 3-D form. The composition also incorporates copper and aluminum spirals, completing the presentation.

​

The Florida driftwood has been sanded smooth and clear coated enhancing its texture and character.

Measuring approximately 36 inches tall, 24 inches long, and 16 inches wide, the piece has a gentle, natural lean that reflects the organic shape of the driftwood and adds to its unique visual appeal.
