Saxophone with Driftwood

This creation combines a Bundy Tenor Sax from the 1960's with Florida driftwood.

​

This particular driftwood is Cedar.

​

The tenor saxophone has been completely taken apart and repositioned on the cedar driftwood.  It took 109 hours to complete.  The saxophone bell is also embedded in the bottom of the cedar.  

 

The saxophone sits on the base, which is also Florida cedar.  

​

It is approximately 37" tall, , 33" long and 21" wide.    All of the cedar has been finished  by hand with bees wax.  As you can see, a large aluminum spiral sits on top of the saxophone bell. 

 

This creation is also a Bluetooth Speaker.
