Teak Wood with French Horn

​This imaginative creation was handcrafted from a vintage french horn.  It was manufactured in 1914 by the J.W. Pepper & Son company.  This is a silver French horn.

The French horn has been mounted on a teak wood bowl that has been hand carved.  The wood has clear epoxy and clear coats.  Copper and aluminum spirals have been added to the french horn.

Adding even more intrigue is the large copper spiral mounted on top of the French horn bell to conceal a portable speaker to become functional art.  ​
